Iraq

Hello from Iraq !

My name is Mike Wallace and I am the Battalion Executive Officer for 2nd Battalion, 142nd Infantry.  We are members of the Texas Army National Guard currently serving in Iraq .  We are planning our own National Tartan Day celebration here and I have some Muckleroys, MacElraths, Stewarts, McDonalds and other Scots with me in my unit who are very excited about it.  Since our Scottish Ancestors have contributed so much to Texas History, We're planning on wearing our kilts and eating some haggis, and if I can find (or make) a caber we'll do the caber toss.

Please check back for updates & Photos!!!!
